I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. Today's nautical theme outfit was inspired by Memorial Day but I just realized I am missing the blue color. I couldn't wait to wear my red shoes from Prabal Gurung it matched the red in the shorts perfectly, as you know I have the black pair and I wear them all the time. Here are my two favorite work outfits for the week. This week was all about wearing colors, mixing prints and floral. Since the weather was beautiful I wore skirts all week and for the first time I mixed prints! Now lets get into details... Look #1 For the first look I paired a simple pencil skirt with a floral peplum top. Peplum tops are flattering on every type of body I love this style it looks good with pants, jeans and even shorts. They are one of many fashion tricks to help hide an unwanted tummy. I finished the look with gold tip pointed pumps and only a necklace. I love styling one piece in different ways it makes me feel like it was worth buying it. I bought this romper from Forever 21 last month for only $19.99 I will for sure use it a lot this Summer. Rompers are comfortable and can be dress up or down with only changing the accessories. Now lets go into details for each look. I was so glad when I found this skort from Zara I immediately wanted to buy it in three different colors (white, blue & black) but since I established shopping on a budget I was only able to walked away from the store with just one. I am sure I will be wearing this piece a lot even during Fall and Winter. It can easily be styled with a blazer and tights and for Summer with a t-shirt, sandals and sneakers to dress it down. This one was my favorite work look of the week the only bad thing was I did not take pictures with my camera I apologize for that, I took this pictures before work with my iPhone. I felt in love with this pants when I saw them at the store I can easily wear them for different events just by changing the top and shoes.  For the office I paired them with a basic black top and silver shoes. The only pop of color I added was my lipstick. For some strange reason I wore black and white to work all week, but with this look I decided to add a little bit of color with this blazer.
