Give me all the tie dye please!!! The two biggest sale days of the year...... I have never been out shopping the Black Friday sales.  To be honest the madness kind of stresses me.  This year I have learned to love online shopping more than anything.  Yes- I like touching the items I am buying and trying them on, but sometimes comfort shopping is best.  Just a click away! And this year I learned to appreciate what I already have.... I can't believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow.  As hard as this year has been I came to the realization that we must be happy for all we have in the present and stop always acknowledging what we did not achieve.  I learned a lot about myself the last couple of months and as cheesy as it sounds I feel blessed.  I know holidays are different this year for a lot of us. Some are going on with their business and some like me are taking precautions.  I know better days are coming and I will reunite with my family I have no doubt that God has a plan, he always does. I will take vintage anytime... During my shopping career (yes, I call it that LOL) I have learned to appreciate the beauty of vintage.  There is something fascinating not knowing what you will find once you enter the store.  I have found a few pieces I cherish, but my favorite at the moment is this Burberry blazer I got at Vintage On First.  A beautiful store in Hoboken, NJ that carries some amazing pieces. I immediately knew how I was going to wear this a tribute to that little girl who was always best dressed at school and learned the power of a great blazer at 13 years old.  This was it!  If you grew up in the 90's you know this type of outfits were all over.  Leggings and a blazer and call it a day fast forward to 2020 minus the dark lip liner and nude lips I felt like a blast from the past. I heard sweater vests are back and I couldn't be more happier... This year I have enjoyed the transition from Summer to Fall.  Every year I missed the window where you can layer and not have to cover your outfit with a coat.  I am surprised that it is Nov and the weather has been really nice! When you finally get the doc Martens you always wanted..... And I have been wearing them non stop with dresses, pants, leggings and skirts.  They are finally comfortable (not going to lie) they weren't in the beginning, but now I love them!  They are also a great transition shoe.  Perfect for Fall and Winter. I found a new love for sneakers!!! If there is one thing I don't miss has to be wearing heels.  I put my feet thru so much pain wearing uncomfortable shoes almost every day that they are probably thanking me right now because I am letting them breath.  I still wear some heels, but not those pumps that look good but are extremely uncomfortable. I miss sandal weather already..... How is it November already?  The first half of the year went by so slow and now it seems to be flying by.  I am not mentally prepared for the holidays because I feel we were cheated of this year.   Remember when I said I didn't  like shoulder pads? I was wrong.... The last Summer Hot Days...... I have so many dresses that sometimes is hard to pick one to wear or I just keep grabbing the same ones.  This one is particular is one of my favorites, it is perfect for those hot days and also good for layering when the temperature starts to go down.  I also have to say these sandals have been on heavy rotation.  I just love how comfortable they are and how they go with pretty much everything. The challenge of mixing prints.... Hello September!!! My birthday month and a whole of bunch of other people I know LOL  Today we closed out Summer and I already feel sad.  I feel down because we were robbed, yes robbed.  Summer is my favorite season and this virus just took all the fun away.  I am not saying my Summer was uneventful, but all my international travel plans got canceled.  I tried to make the best of it by going to explore new places, new town and some beach days and that at least satisfied me. I gave the head scarf a try and I loved it! it made me feel like I belong in France in the 60's, I have no idea why it gave that vibe haha I have been behind posting on here that I can't remember where I wore this to, but it is definitely a style I will repeat again with jeans and a sweater. Good bye August.... Welcome pumpkin spice everything and the start of my favorite month September!! When you find the most comfortable shorts.... This Summer and pretty much most of Spring I lived in lounge wear.  But it was a nice upgrade to find comfortable shorts to wear anytime I got a chance to get out of the house.  These pair from Mango have been in heavy rotation and I plan to wear them until the end of Summer.   When the "stay at home" orders were put in place, I swear my clothes knew lol Nobody really dresses up anymore, but for me it was a big disappointment.  I still have some clothes I didn't get to wear, but I am happy that orders were lifted and I got to go out and take my poor sad clothes for a spin. Shopping my closet has been so fun!! I do two closet clean outs a year one where I get rid of stuff and the other one I rotate items that have been hanging there for a while and I don't usually wear. The charm of Deep Cut Gardens... In an effort to keep busy and not let quarantine get to me , I have been planning little trips and discovering new things around me.  That is how I found this beautiful gardens only an hour away from my house.  The landscape was amazing, the whole place is well kept and welcoming. It was a perfect activity to put on a floral dress and pretend I was somewhere else. I recently discover Shein  and I am in love with all the dresses and tops they have.  I got this dress for a very reasonable price and it fits like a glove.  With a lot of "cheaper" clothes, you never know what you are getting, but I can honestly, say I have not had any problems with any item i ordered. Everything fits true to size and I have washed a couple of pieces and they do not shrink or anything. How is it the middle of August? 2020 has been the craziest year ever and it is hard to process that is almost coming to its end.  I have so many fun things plan for this week (surprisingly) but I have decided to enjoy the rest of the Summer.  This was taken a few weeks ago, when we took a ride down  to  Happy Day Farm.  I went looking for lavender, but I was too late (like most of the things in my life lol) but we still managed to have a great time.  I wore this dress I got from Shein and this beautiful beaded bag I found in Etsy.  After we walked the farm we had homemade ice cream and headed to the local farmers market.
