Paris in September

One of the many things I love about Summer is how easy it is to get dressed.  A pair  of shorts, top and sandals and you are all set.  These pair of shorts I cut myself.  I have collected a few vintage Levi's jeans in different sizes and when I feel like making new shorts, I cut them.  If you don't know yet, the Levi's men fit better than the women ones.  Specially for long legged gals like me.  I paired them with a tube top I got at H&M ages ago and a thrifted crochet vest.  Added a braided head band and cute pair of earrings and I was ready to go. What I am loving the most right now are cut out Summer dresses and these ridiculous yet comfortable Teva sandals.  I didn't think I was going to wear them and enjoy them as much as I am haha I styled this dress for date night last night.  We went to eat at Greek To Me had fish, salad and sangria.  One of the best Friday night's in a long time. xo. JLo sweater I thrifted years ago was dusted off from the back of the closet.. I love cleaning my closet and finding items I have forgotten about.  Funny story is I found it the day Jennifer Lopez supposedly broke up with Alex Rodriguez and I remember thinking that she should go back with Marc Anthony LOL   The collar comes off and the material is super soft.  I have worn it three times after this and plan to do more styling with it.  It is the perfect layering piece, warm and cozy.  xo, Yaudy Shop Similar

Welcome  to Paris in September... I finally took the plunge and changed the name of this little space that I love so much.  Paris has a very special place in my heart and my birthday is in September, it was a match!  I have only been there one time and I went for my birthday, and I couldn't think of a better name. And this year I learned to appreciate what I already have.... I can't believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow.  As hard as this year has been I came to the realization that we must be happy for all we have in the present and stop always acknowledging what we did not achieve.  I learned a lot about myself the last couple of months and as cheesy as it sounds I feel blessed.  I know holidays are different this year for a lot of us. Some are going on with their business and some like me are taking precautions.  I know better days are coming and I will reunite with my family I have no doubt that God has a plan, he always does. I heard sweater vests are back and I couldn't be more happier... This year I have enjoyed the transition from Summer to Fall.  Every year I missed the window where you can layer and not have to cover your outfit with a coat.  I am surprised that it is Nov and the weather has been really nice! I found a new love for sneakers!!! If there is one thing I don't miss has to be wearing heels.  I put my feet thru so much pain wearing uncomfortable shoes almost every day that they are probably thanking me right now because I am letting them breath.  I still wear some heels, but not those pumps that look good but are extremely uncomfortable. I miss sandal weather already..... How is it November already?  The first half of the year went by so slow and now it seems to be flying by.  I am not mentally prepared for the holidays because I feel we were cheated of this year. I would still try to make the best of it and enjoy this time with the "new normal" in mind. The last Summer Hot Days...... I have so many dresses that sometimes is hard to pick one to wear or I just keep grabbing the same ones.  This one is particular is one of my favorites, it is perfect for those hot days and also good for layering when the temperature starts to go down.  I also have to say these sandals have been on heavy rotation.  I just love how comfortable they are and how they go with pretty much everything. When you go to a balloon festival and buy pants :) Needles to say I also enjoyed the balloons, but I think I spent lots of time walking around all of the vendors and I am so glad I found these pair and they have a pocket!  What is it about women and pockets? LOL I am a woman and I don't have the answer to that, but I do admit in having a bit of excitement every-time a piece of clothing has them. I added a hat to this outfit one that went well with the bag and sandals I chose.  I am definitely enjoying this bag this year not that is the most practical, but it sure is one of the cutest bags I own. Friday is here!! I have never been a fan of celebrating Fridays because I love celebrating all days (even Mondays) but lately the weekend brings joy.  It could very well be the fact that towns are opening up and I can finally go get that drink I have been dreaming about.  Not to say I didn't have any while in quarantine, but it just sounds better when someone else is making it and serving it.   I wore this a couple of Saturdays ago when we had a little picnic at the park.  That was a fun day!  Staying home these past months really taught me to appreciate the little things.  Maybe I will put my feelings down on a post about it soon, but for now lets cheer to Friday. xo, Yaudy Cristina What I am wearing H&M top H&M jeans H&M sunnies Shein shoes Thrifted bag Shop similar

How can jumpsuits be so comfortable, but at the same time annoying? There is something very feminine about lace. Every time I wear lace I feel a bit extra.  I am not sure if it's because of how delicate it makes any garment, or just because it screams feminism.  This is another piece I bought in the beginning of the year that I never got around to wearing.  It was a bit challenging, since I ran out of double sided tape and as you can see the neck line is very low.  But, I manage to go grocery and plant shopping without an accident and that is a win in my book :) xo, Yaudy Cristina   What I am wearing Forever 21 top H&M skirt Shein sandals Michael Kors bag SHOP SIMILAR

Always play dress up my favorite t-shirt. What is the one thing helping you cope with this times? Happy Saturday friends! So, we have had a few beautiful Sundays here and I have been taking full advantage.  Not being able to go out as much as I would like, it is a treat when the weather during the weekend is sunny and bright.
