Paris in September

Holiday Colors... Is there anyone who doesn't like leopard print?  I don't think so LOL This outfit was a spare of the moment thought,  when I could not figure out what to wear and wanted to wear these pants so bad, but the top I was looking for was dirty type of moment. So, I decided to pile on all the leopard print I own and I am not one bit mad as how the look turned out. I have been so into this type of style pant. Super comfortable and wearable I want to wear them everyday.  These pants are a recent purchase, but everything else has been sitting in my closet forever. Hope you guys have an amazing weekend! I am back in the office after almost two and a half years!!    Still cannot wrap my head around how my life changed these last few years.  I was craving seeing other people and having conversations with all those who I have missed so much.  Of course my outfit had to be perfect and even though it was freezing last month, I decided to wear a cropped blazer and faux leather pants for my return. I add a blazer anytime I feel my outfit is missing something ha... It is the best way to elevate a t-shirt and jeans.  This blazer is one of my favorites because is the most springy one I own.  The colors, the  pretty floral print, the style, everything about it is just amazing and I can't wait to style it again. Give me all the tie dye please!!! And this year I learned to appreciate what I already have.... I can't believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow.  As hard as this year has been I came to the realization that we must be happy for all we have in the present and stop always acknowledging what we did not achieve.  I learned a lot about myself the last couple of months and as cheesy as it sounds I feel blessed.  I know holidays are different this year for a lot of us. Some are going on with their business and some like me are taking precautions.  I know better days are coming and I will reunite with my family I have no doubt that God has a plan, he always does. I found a new love for sneakers!!! If there is one thing I don't miss has to be wearing heels.  I put my feet thru so much pain wearing uncomfortable shoes almost every day that they are probably thanking me right now because I am letting them breath.  I still wear some heels, but not those pumps that look good but are extremely uncomfortable.   Remember when I said I didn't  like shoulder pads? I was wrong.... The challenge of mixing prints.... Good bye August.... Welcome pumpkin spice everything and the start of my favorite month September!! I can't hide the fact that I am excited for Fall.  I can't wait to do all my favorite Fall activities and eat my first apple cider donut (The first bite is always the best!).  And the most important transition from dresses to sweaters, sandals to boots and dust out all those light jackets. When you find the most comfortable shorts.... This Summer and pretty much most of Spring I lived in lounge wear.  But it was a nice upgrade to find comfortable shorts to wear anytime I got a chance to get out of the house.  These pair from Mango have been in heavy rotation and I plan to wear them until the end of Summer.   When the "stay at home" orders were put in place, I swear my clothes knew lol Nobody really dresses up anymore, but for me it was a big disappointment.  I still have some clothes I didn't get to wear, but I am happy that orders were lifted and I got to go out and take my poor sad clothes for a spin. The charm of Deep Cut Gardens... In an effort to keep busy and not let quarantine get to me , I have been planning little trips and discovering new things around me.  That is how I found this beautiful gardens only an hour away from my house.  The landscape was amazing, the whole place is well kept and welcoming. It was a perfect activity to put on a floral dress and pretend I was somewhere else. I recently discover Shein  and I am in love with all the dresses and tops they have.  I got this dress for a very reasonable price and it fits like a glove.  With a lot of "cheaper" clothes, you never know what you are getting, but I can honestly, say I have not had any problems with any item i ordered. Everything fits true to size and I have washed a couple of pieces and they do not shrink or anything. Happy end of May.... Never in a millions thoughts and ideas for this little blog of mine, crossed my mind that I would have a outfit post wearing a mask.  But in times like we are living now, it just appropriate.   Do I like wearing a mask? no.  Does it make me feel safe? a little.  I guess we all have a different view on this and for now I choose to follow.  The mask is not the only item that makes this outfit!  I found this pants at Walmart and let me tell you, I was pleasantly  surprised  as to how much I love them. The brand is Scoop and they were very reasonably priced, which was my favorite thing.
