Paris in September

Happy end of May.... Never in a millions thoughts and ideas for this little blog of mine, crossed my mind that I would have a outfit post wearing a mask.  But in times like we are living now, it just appropriate.   Do I like wearing a mask? no.  Does it make me feel safe? a little.  I guess we all have a different view on this and for now I choose to follow.  The mask is not the only item that makes this outfit!  I found this pants at Walmart and let me tell you, I was pleasantly  surprised  as to how much I love them. The brand is Scoop and they were very reasonably priced, which was my favorite thing. The unofficial start of Summer is here! May is one of my favorite months and even though I am sad to see it go (this time went by fast) I can't help but get excited for the warmer days ahead.  Not really sure what this Summer would be like, but one thing I am sure of is that I will make the best of it. Sooo... This outfit was put together in a matter of minutes.  The skirt is part of a set but I don't know what happened to the top LOL  I was glad it came together well with a little bit of mix prints and this beautiful kimono type of blouse.   White slides and flowers completed the Spring vive I was looking for. What has everyone done to keep occupied during this time? I am not getting dressed up as much as I wanted lets face it, not much going on to get dressed up for, but I have been entertaining myself with items I already have in my closet and it has been lots of fun.  Dresses like this one that were supposed to be worn early in May for an event and so many other fun outfits that I am sure and positive I will wear sooner rather than later. I read on someone's IG story that 2020 is over and that just blew my mind.  Sure it is not a great situation, but just today I saw that Spain and Italy are opening up and the people are happy and doing the best they can. And that is exactly what I plan to do when things here in USA start to get better. But for now my balcony and my boyfriend's backyard it is! Missing my thrifting trips when I look at this outfit. These pieces were what I found on my last thrift trip before quarantine.  I often go see what they have and sometimes, actually, most of the times I come home empty handed.
