Paris in September

What I am loving the most right now are cut out Summer dresses and these ridiculous yet comfortable Teva sandals.  I didn't think I was going to wear them and enjoy them as much as I am haha I styled this dress for date night last night.  We went to eat at Greek To Me had fish, salad and sangria.  One of the best Friday night's in a long time. xo. I will take vintage anytime... During my shopping career (yes, I call it that LOL) I have learned to appreciate the beauty of vintage.  There is something fascinating not knowing what you will find once you enter the store.  I have found a few pieces I cherish, but my favorite at the moment is this Burberry blazer I got at Vintage On First.  A beautiful store in Hoboken, NJ that carries some amazing pieces. I immediately knew how I was going to wear this a tribute to that little girl who was always best dressed at school and learned the power of a great blazer at 13 years old.  This was it!  If you grew up in the 90's you know this type of outfits were all over.  Leggings and a blazer and call it a day fast forward to 2020 minus the dark lip liner and nude lips I felt like a blast from the past. The challenge of mixing prints.... The charm of Deep Cut Gardens... In an effort to keep busy and not let quarantine get to me , I have been planning little trips and discovering new things around me.  That is how I found this beautiful gardens only an hour away from my house.  The landscape was amazing, the whole place is well kept and welcoming. It was a perfect activity to put on a floral dress and pretend I was somewhere else. I recently discover Shein  and I am in love with all the dresses and tops they have.  I got this dress for a very reasonable price and it fits like a glove.  With a lot of "cheaper" clothes, you never know what you are getting, but I can honestly, say I have not had any problems with any item i ordered. Everything fits true to size and I have washed a couple of pieces and they do not shrink or anything. This past weekend my friend and I headed into the city to go to one of the most hilarious places I've ever been.    The Museum Of Illusions  was fun and very entertaining.  From the infinity mirror room, to me playing cards with me lol and to this chair below, that took me a while to actually see a "chair".  Some of the rooms I couldn't even go in because they were making me really dizzy, but overall it was a great experience. It was only $20 to get in and we saw pretty much the whole museum withing 45 minutes.  If you are ever in NYC and are looking for something to do I recommend this place! xo, Yaudy Cristina
