Paris in September

Backyard picnic anyone? I have been trying to make the best of this quarantine situation and have been loving getting a little bit more creative.  It took me a while to get to this point and in a way I am happy quarantine has forced me to come out of my comfort zone, when it comes to taking photos for the blog.   This is Ryan's backyard where I have been spending most of my time, so I decided to pay it tribute and photograph some of it.  He takes pride on his grass, look how green it is!!  I also decided to wear this flowy, comfortable dress I got from Shein.  They have so many cute Summer dresses that it was very hard to choose which ones to buy.  This one specially is one I will probably be wearing more.   Happy Tuesday friends! xo, Yaudy Cristina What I am wearing: Shein dress RayBan sunglasses Shop Similar

Friday is here!! I have never been a fan of celebrating Fridays because I love celebrating all days (even Mondays) but lately the weekend brings joy.  It could very well be the fact that towns are opening up and I can finally go get that drink I have been dreaming about.  Not to say I didn't have any while in quarantine, but it just sounds better when someone else is making it and serving it.   I wore this a couple of Saturdays ago when we had a little picnic at the park.  That was a fun day!  Staying home these past months really taught me to appreciate the little things.  Maybe I will put my feelings down on a post about it soon, but for now lets cheer to Friday. xo, Yaudy Cristina What I am wearing H&M top H&M jeans H&M sunnies Shein shoes Thrifted bag Shop similar

Off the shoulder and maxi skirts, need I say more? I could wear this style everyday during the Summer, I think maxi skirts are fantastic when trying to stay cool.  This skirt in particular is one of my favorites, it is an oldie in my closet, but I don't think I can ever part with it.  I styled it with this Sofia Vergara off the shoulder top from Walmart and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as to how well  made it is.  I bought a couple more pieces from her line and I can't wait to wear them.  Including a pair of her jeans with the hopes that my tooshie would look like hers, but I don't think that can ever happen LOL Happy Wednesday! xo, Yaudy Cristina What I am wearing Forever 21 bow Sofia Vergara top via Walmart Charlotte Russe skirt Zara bag Old Navy sandals Shop Similar

How can jumpsuits be so comfortable, but at the same time annoying? There is something very feminine about lace. Every time I wear lace I feel a bit extra.  I am not sure if it's because of how delicate it makes any garment, or just because it screams feminism.  This is another piece I bought in the beginning of the year that I never got around to wearing.  It was a bit challenging, since I ran out of double sided tape and as you can see the neck line is very low.  But, I manage to go grocery and plant shopping without an accident and that is a win in my book :) xo, Yaudy Cristina   What I am wearing Forever 21 top H&M skirt Shein sandals Michael Kors bag SHOP SIMILAR

I am having a "dresses" moment. The weather is warming up and wearing dresses is the easiest and most comfortable.  As I continue to shop my own closet, I keep finding these little gems that were once placed all the way in the back waiting for a chance to be worn.  This dress in particular,  I have for almost five years with tags on! I cannot believe I waited this long to take it out for a spin.  The shoes are part of my last thrifting trip, they are so comfortable and went well with the 70's print and vibe I was going for here. Polka is my thing! During this quarantine I have been loving re-discovering what is already in my closet.  Not able to go out and walk the mall  has not only saved me money, but also has forced me to clean my wardrobe.
