The charm of Deep Cut Gardens... In an effort to keep busy and not let quarantine get to me , I have been planning little trips and discovering new things around me.  That is how I found this beautiful gardens only an hour away from my house.  The landscape was amazing, the whole place is well kept and welcoming. It was a perfect activity to put on a floral dress and pretend I was somewhere else. I recently discover Shein  and I am in love with all the dresses and tops they have.  I got this dress for a very reasonable price and it fits like a glove.  With a lot of "cheaper" clothes, you never know what you are getting, but I can honestly, say I have not had any problems with any item i ordered. Everything fits true to size and I have washed a couple of pieces and they do not shrink or anything. How is it the middle of August? 2020 has been the craziest year ever and it is hard to process that is almost coming to its end.  I have so many fun things plan for this week (surprisingly) but I have decided to enjoy the rest of the Summer.  This was taken a few weeks ago, when we took a ride down  to  Happy Day Farm.  I went looking for lavender, but I was too late (like most of the things in my life lol) but we still managed to have a great time.  I wore this dress I got from Shein and this beautiful beaded bag I found in Etsy.  After we walked the farm we had homemade ice cream and headed to the local farmers market. When you go to a balloon festival and buy pants :) Needles to say I also enjoyed the balloons, but I think I spent lots of time walking around all of the vendors and I am so glad I found these pair and they have a pocket!  What is it about women and pockets? LOL I am a woman and I don't have the answer to that, but I do admit in having a bit of excitement every-time a piece of clothing has them. I added a hat to this outfit one that went well with the bag and sandals I chose.  I am definitely enjoying this bag this year not that is the most practical, but it sure is one of the cutest bags I own. Friday is here!! I have never been a fan of celebrating Fridays because I love celebrating all days (even Mondays) but lately the weekend brings joy.  It could very well be the fact that towns are opening up and I can finally go get that drink I have been dreaming about.  Not to say I didn't have any while in quarantine, but it just sounds better when someone else is making it and serving it.   I wore this a couple of Saturdays ago when we had a little picnic at the park.  That was a fun day!  Staying home these past months really taught me to appreciate the little things.  Maybe I will put my feelings down on a post about it soon, but for now lets cheer to Friday. xo, Yaudy Cristina What I am wearing H&M top H&M jeans H&M sunnies Shein shoes Thrifted bag Shop similar

Happy end of May.... Never in a millions thoughts and ideas for this little blog of mine, crossed my mind that I would have a outfit post wearing a mask.  But in times like we are living now, it just appropriate.   Do I like wearing a mask? no.  Does it make me feel safe? a little.  I guess we all have a different view on this and for now I choose to follow.  The mask is not the only item that makes this outfit!  I found this pants at Walmart and let me tell you, I was pleasantly  surprised  as to how much I love them. The brand is Scoop and they were very reasonably priced, which was my favorite thing. The unofficial start of Summer is here! May is one of my favorite months and even though I am sad to see it go (this time went by fast) I can't help but get excited for the warmer days ahead.  Not really sure what this Summer would be like, but one thing I am sure of is that I will make the best of it. Sooo... This outfit was put together in a matter of minutes.  The skirt is part of a set but I don't know what happened to the top LOL  I was glad it came together well with a little bit of mix prints and this beautiful kimono type of blouse.   White slides and flowers completed the Spring vive I was looking for. Happy Saturday friends! So, we have had a few beautiful Sundays here and I have been taking full advantage.  Not being able to go out as much as I would like, it is a treat when the weather during the weekend is sunny and bright. Three things... Spring is coming! In love with the flare jeans trend! lastly, how cute are these shoes? I won't tell you how many times my clumsy little self almost falls to the ground wearing them, but they sure did look cute. This past weekend my friend and I headed into the city to go to one of the most hilarious places I've ever been.    The Museum Of Illusions  was fun and very entertaining.  From the infinity mirror room, to me playing cards with me lol and to this chair below, that took me a while to actually see a "chair".  Some of the rooms I couldn't even go in because they were making me really dizzy, but overall it was a great experience. It was only $20 to get in and we saw pretty much the whole museum withing 45 minutes.  If you are ever in NYC and are looking for something to do I recommend this place! xo, Yaudy Cristina
