I always missed the window of time where a sweater is all you need, for the past couple of years it got cold so fast that I was not able to wear the layers or the trench coats, so this year even though the temperature was almost 90 degrees this past Friday I wore my trench coat for girls night out.  Needles to say I was very warm but happy that my trench coat went out for a spin haha A sweater, statement necklace, ripped jeggins and heels are my fall staples and the added bonus to this outfit were the shoes, bright and loud... I am a banker with an eye for fashion!  I try to add a special touch to all my office looks and this time I went with metallic shoes. Maxx jacket / H&M shoes / Ray Ban sunnies / Sephora lips in N19  My husband and I took a mini road trip this past weekend to Virginia and this comfortable look is what I wore for the 7 hours car ride. As you can tell stripes is one of my favorite things to wear. After organizing my closet last week I realized I have never worn this sweater (small closet problems). Incorporating prints to the office is a fun way to update the usual black suit. I am fortunate that I don't have to wear a suit everyday, that gives me the opportunity to be more creative when choosing what to wear. If you are looking to update your office wardrobe and are on a budget, add some color and prints with accessories. A printed scarf, leopard shoes, bright colored top. So many choices.. I love the color of this infinity scarf from  9TH & Elm  it is so soft and I know for sure it will be on rotation for this coming cold season.  I wore this on Sunday to go to the  Jersey Skyline Wine Festival  and to dinner.  I have been on a denim kick lately after cleaning and organizing my closet denim is all I can think about. Forever 21 jumpsuit / Nrodstrom BP earrings / Charles David shoes via Marshalls / Revlon matte balm in #240 I wore this on Friday to go celebrate my birthday with the husband. I didn't have a lot of time to get ready that's why I chose to wear a jumpsuit, with Jumpsuits all you have to worry about is accessories and shoes the whole look is pretty much done once you get into the adult onesie haha I went with gold colored earrings and a ring, added my red lipstick and was out the door in no time. With Fall right around the corner I can't help but start thinking about coats. Here in Jersey the weather changes to Winter so quickly that we only have a couple of weeks to layer the cute cardigans and to wear boots with dresses (which I love). Coats are the last thing you put on during Winter and it is the first thing people see once you go out, so why not up the coat game a bit by making it the outfit statement piece. I took only three pair of shoes nude wedge sandals, flat sandals and flip flops.  There was no stress about loosing my luggage or having to wait at the luggage pickup.  I packed items that mixed well together and everything matched in case I needed it to remix a look.
