Leggings and Headbands

Image
H&M shirt/Spanx leggings/Charlotte Russe boots/F21 headband I celebrated Easter yesterday and if any of you reading this did too, I hope it was a great one! About two months ago I took these pictures and I have no idea what happened that I forgot to post them.  This was one of my favorite comfy looks I usually wear during the colder months.   You can't never go wrong with faux leather leggings, a button down shirt and boots. I have been loving headbands lately and to my surprise my head hasn't hurt a bit while wearing them lol xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

The Bag

Image
Forever 21 jacket/Levi's jeans//Zara shoes/Bag from T.J. Maxx Spring is finally here.  The flowers are blooming and the allergies are in full force lol I have been searching cherry trees the same way I searched for this bag.  Little did I know, that I would find it at TJ Maxx for a fraction of the price.   I wanted to make this post all about the bag but when I couldn't find my denim jacket,  I had to add a little animal print to the mix.  Talking about cheery trees...  I can't wait to go to Branch Brook Park this weekend! I tried going last year, but it was so busy I couldn't even find parking and just turned around and went home. If you are in the NJ area go check it out!  I have seen gorgeous pictures and I'm just so excited to go. xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

That Transitional Piece

Image
Vici sweater/Zara t-shirt/Gap jeans/Zara shoes I love it when the weather starts to warm up and there is still the feeling of Winter with a mixture of Spring.  This was two weeks ago on a Friday, the first day that actually felt like the weather was finally changing. I have only worn this sweater twice, not because I don't like it I actually love it, but the sleeves don't fit into any of my coats.  So it has been designated as the transitional piece in my closet.   BTW I can honestly say that my favorite jeans are Gap jeans.  Sorry Levi's I love you as well, but Gap has my heart at the moment! xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

The Magic of Goodwill

Image
Blazer from Goodwill/Aeropostale jeans.Jessica Simpson shoes via TJ Maxx/Levi's t-shirt A few months ago I entered my first  Goodwill  store and I was fascinated by all the things I found. Specially this oversize men blazer I got for $4 dollars.   After seeing this trend in all the fashion shows runways, I could not resist but to jump on the blazer wagon. I paired it with jeans, t-shirt and heels to make a fun outfit for lunch with friends. xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

Neon is Back Baby

Image
Dor L Dor sweater/F21 jeans/ & headband/Calvin Klein shoes   I tend to hold on to items that I like even if they go out of style.  I am glad I did that with these neon heels I bought since 2012 at T.J. Maxx.  I was so close to donating them, but something told me to keep them.  I believe it was the fashion whisperer LOL Neon is back my friends! If you like the trend but are not sure how to incorporated in, try doing a pop of color like I did here.  I kept the rest of the outfit neutral so the big statement was obviously the shoes. xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

Zara Does It Again

Image
Zara jacket and shoes/H&M denim/Target t-shirt Every time I walk into Zara is an adventure.  Last week was no different LOL I only went in to find The Devil Wears Prada sweatshirt and I was not in luck.  Not in luck when it came to finding it, but I did manage to find these beautiful Kitten heels, studded shoes. I right away knew that I needed them and wanted them! Oh and more animal print because this Jersey girl cant live without it. xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

On The Weekend: Pretty Woman

Image
About two weeks ago I went into the city to watch  Pretty Woman on Broadway.   It was Fantastic! Every six months I give myself a gift, whether is a facial, a bag or anything that makes me happy.  Lately happiness has been on Broadway shows.  So far I've seen The Phantom of the Opera, Anastasia and now this one. I truly recommend it.  It was fun and very entertaining. Obviously I had to wear polka dots!  This movie is pretty close to my heart, since it was the first movie I watched when I arrived in the US.  I had no idea what they were saying, but I listened to the soundtrack so many times, to the point I memorized the lyrics without knowing a word of English. Needles  to say, I had to experienced it on theater. xo, Yaudy Cristina Images via  Google   WHAT I WORE
