It is very important to have a good tailor specially if you are like me that shop on bargains even if they are not my size. I bought this blazer a couple of months ago and had to tailored the sleeves, the woman I found did a pretty good job I was very pleased and ended up bringing some pants and other tops to get fix.
I felt in love with the polka dots and wanted to go for a nautical feel with this look I think adding the stripped shoe did just that. Even though I love the black and white combo I felt it needed a little pop of color so I wore my hot pink clutch and bright coral lips. I know I will get a lot of use of this blazer, I already wore it for the office and I will definitely wear it a lot on the weekends coming.

Having a good tailor is a huge plus - I always end up doing everything myself, for better or worse! Love this blazer, such a fun print and it's great with the striped shoes!

DeleteMy tailor is my Husband's aunt. She recently took in a skirt and hemmed it for me, as well as took in two dresses. I lost a bunch of weight last year but I loved the items and didn't want to buy new. I just wanted them to fit! She does my work pants and jeans too. I'm forever having to have pants hemmed, I'm so short!

That's great Ash! I am glad I found this lady I took more clothes to her I had a lot of the pieces for a long time stored in my closet and like you I still liked them. I am happy I can wear them again once she fixes them!!
