Paris in September

  How is it August already?! I have been in a cleaning mode and so happy I have found so many old items that still fit.  Like this blouse for example.  I got this like 2 years ago and never worn it, I call it it my jungle shirt LOL I feel so much more organized and lighter after all the things I git rid of.   Why do we hang on to things and never even wear them?  Crazy thing, right? Tie dye anyone? I am obsessed with this dress and pretty much anything tie dye.  It brings me back to the 80's and also reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw lol  I don't know why we stopped wearing it, I am so glad is back and hopefully for a long time. I got this dress from St. Cole  a shop I discover on Instagram.  They have amazing stuff from dresses to hats to sets it is just amazing!  Be sure to check them out. Three Things that Covid19 quarantine has taught me. I have not have a lot of time to think about all that's happening,  thankful to God, I am still busy with work and when I am not busy doing that, I try to stay distracted as much as I can.  But these three things I learned early on, specially when the stay at home orders were put into place. One People will not make time for you.   This one hit me the hardest.  As busy as I was, I made time to check on pretty much everyone I know.  A text or call even a Facebook message.  Some did come back and reciprocate, but not everyone will act the same towards you.  I read this somewhere and it has been replaying in my head ever since "make time for people who make time for you, not people who only talk to you when they have time".  Specially now that all stay at home orders have been lifted. You know when you find a dress you will love forever!! I got this dress on the sales rack at one of my favorite stores in town and I could not wait to wear it.  At the same time I received this beautiful beaded bag I had ordered from Etsy.  How lucky am I?    I knew right away they went well together and they sure did.  As you know (from my previous post) I love a maxi dress or skirt.  I can't express enough how comfortable this style is for the humidity and heat Summer brings. When you go to a balloon festival and buy pants :) Needles to say I also enjoyed the balloons, but I think I spent lots of time walking around all of the vendors and I am so glad I found these pair and they have a pocket!  What is it about women and pockets? LOL I am a woman and I don't have the answer to that, but I do admit in having a bit of excitement every-time a piece of clothing has them. I added a hat to this outfit one that went well with the bag and sandals I chose.  I am definitely enjoying this bag this year not that is the most practical, but it sure is one of the cutest bags I own. Maxi skirts and statement earrings!! Wearing a maxi skirt has become my all time Summer uniform.  With the heat and humidity it makes for a very comfortable yet chic outfit.  I chose to wear this black one because  I have not worn it in like five years.  I can't believe I forgot about such a gorgeous piece. I styled it with statement earrings and these pair are definitely a statement.  Earrings are my go to accessory, specially in the warmer months because they don't get stuck on the scarf or coat collar LOL Also, check out the linkup at the bottom of this post!! Happy Monday!!! The Monday after returning from a few days off is always the longest day.  I don't remember that when I was a kid.  I was off last week and I rested, not that I have not been resting since March 14th to be exact, but at least I didn't have to work from home and didn't have to get up early everyday. On to these amazing shorts I got from Mango last month, they fit great! high waisted and so comfortable.  They are the perfect pair to style with crop tops and easy to dress up with a blazer and heels.  I am sure I will be wearing more and more this season.
