My Promise to Twenty Twenty

Image
Another year comes to an end and there it is the chance to a new start.  Ever since getting sick I don't take any day for granted.  This year came fast and is leaving me even faster.  My year was not at all perfect, but it was a learning process.  Learning to manage my anxiety and learning to not let it stop me from being my best self. I promise you 2020....  That I will continue to understand myself.   That I will make time to do the things I love. That I will make time for those I love. That I will be grateful for all you are bringing me. That I will tackle every unconformable situation with a smile. And lastly.. I will love myself for all that I am! Goodbye 2019! Cheers to a new beginning! Xo, Yaudy Cristina

Uniqlo sweater/Gap jeans/H&M boots/Vintage t-shirt Etsy I AM BACK!!! Doctors orders that I write, take pictures and post more and more. I have been battling anxiety and with that came the lack of motivation and the doubts.  Why should I write? who reads it anyways? I am to old for this?  blah blah blah Those thoughts might still be there, but I will push thru I promise!! These were taken a couple of months ago on a Sunday when I went to the town's vintage sale. I never thought I would be cowgirl type of boot gal, but surprisingly I love these pair!  I have been wearing them non-stop. Happy Tuesday! xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

Helping Earth

Forever 21 top/Gap jeans/Steve Madden sandals I have found a love for second hand clothes.  I have no idea why I never went thrifting before? I started a couple of months ago and so far I have found some great pieces.  Like these pair of Gap jeans!  I got them for $5 and they had the original tags still on them.  I also got this blouse practically for free.  If you have patience to look thru racks and time, I recommend you trying it.  I feel recycling clothes is my little contribution to this beautiful earth.  Happy Friday! xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

On Repeat

H&M top/Forever 21 skirt/Zara sandals It is official I have a thing for touching my hair and closing my eyes when I take pictures LOL I loved this outfit so much,  that I wore it three more times after that and that was only last month.  This skirt I found by accident in the store.  It was the last one and in my size!  you know I could not pass it.  I am probably going to wear it with boots and a black sweater and maybe next time with a blazer.  I just love it.   Also, very sad I got these sandals in late Summer.  I got them at the Zara sale for like $10.  They are the prettiest in person. I have a couple of more posts planned for October and I am trying to figure out the lighting in my apartment for inside pictures in the near future, since my not so good friend Winter is coming! xo, Yaudy Crisrina SHOP SIMILAR

Friday

Express sweater / Uniqlo jeans / Zara sandals There is always something about Fridays that makes me feel happy!   Specially around Fall time.  All the activities the PSL's and the fresh air that is accompany by all this change.  Trees transitioning colors and all of the Fall sweaters and styles I love. This sweater I got a couple of years ago and I don't know why I don't wear it enough.  It's perfect for this time of year's layering, where is 50 degrees in the morning and 70's in the afternoon. Looking forward to a weekend full of activities starting tomorrow with Zumba with Fabletics and the American Heart Association walk on Sunday! Happy weekend friends! xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR

October

Romper purchased at TJ Maxx/Steve Madden sandals/ Forever 21 headband "Life does not have to be perfect to be beautiful" This is one of my favorite quotes, specially after 2017.  On October 25 of that year my life changed.  I changed. I suffered a TIA aka mini stroke due to a congenital heart defect I had, that I had no idea even existed.  I remember that day like if was yesterday, not by choice I just can't move on.  I have to work on letting go of the memory because even thought it was a shocking moment, God gave me another opportunity to still breath.   If you are wondering what caused this, I had what is called a PFO a little hole in my heart that let a blood clot travel to my head, causing me to go blind in my left eye for a few minutes. I have never written about this, because as I mention before I need to learn to let go.  Fast forward to now and I am a completely different person.  I am physically...

Everything Comes Back

Zara headband/H&M shirt/Justfab shoes/Old skirt Mandee I was so happy when I saw headbands come back.  For someone who suffers from migraines and can't really have anything extra tight around the head, I sure love them LOL I got this one at Zara but I should off search more, mine was $19 and after I purchased it I saw them on Amazon for $4!! I was so pissed.  Lesson learned right? I have this skirt for over 10 years and this is the first time I wear it.  I cleaned my closet a couple of weeks ago and found so many items I love and forgot about.  That is what happens when your space is limited and have to hang three things on one hanger. I am glad I re-discovered it!! In other news... Fall is around the corner and I am not doing well with the idea of the cold weather :/ xo, Yaudy Cristina SHOP SIMILAR
